[Full time] Graphics Programmer
Cloisters Interactive is looking for a Graphics Programmer to work on our upcoming project, slated to start Fall 2022. This is a full-time contract position.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
Experience with the C# language and Unity game engine.
Extensive knowledge of vertex, pixel, and compute shaders.
Knowledgeable in a variety of special FX techniques and the latest rendering algorithms.
Familiar with game asset pipelines.
Ability to collaborate with artists on graphics techniques.
Have graphic programming experience on OSX, Windows and IOS.
Excellent spoken and written communication in English.
EXTRAS:
Though not strictly required, candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas would be given more consideration:
Game design.
2+ years game programming experience is a plus. Game industry experience is not strictly required, but is strongly preferred.
Profiling and optimizing to remove bottlenecks.
Ability to create support tools and technology as needed for specific project requirements.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work as part of a small yet agile engineering team.
Assist in bringing a new game project from prototype to release.
Optimize the performance on rendering.
Communicate with non-engineers about the details of bugs, feature requests, and design concepts.
Design and develop new gameplay features in cooperation with other team members.
A love of storytelling + indie games is a big plus!
