3D RIGGING ARTIST

 

[PART TIME]  3D RIGGING ARTIST

Cloisters Interactive is looking for a 3D Rigging Artist to work on our upcoming project, slated to start Fall 2022. This is a part-time contract position.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Maya/3ds Max software preferred.

  • Rig and weight characters, creatures, and props while working closely with modelers and animators.

  • Collaborate with Tech Art, Character Animation, and Engineering teams to help define standards, tools, and workflows for characters and animation.

  • Outstanding demo reel.

Though not strictly required, candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas would be given more consideration:

  • Knowledge of commercial game engines such as Unity

  • 2+ years working experience is a plus. Game industry experience is not strictly required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Art/Animation or equivalent experience.

  • Build, test and maintain body and face rigs, skinning and secondary motion setups for a variety of 3D assets.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work as part of a small yet agile team.

  • Maintain or exceed a consistent level of productivity while meeting deadlines and producing high quality work.

  • A love of storytelling + indie games is a big plus!
