[part time] 3D Character Artist
Cloisters Interactive is looking for a 3D Character Artist to work on our upcoming project, slated to start Fall 2022. This is a part-time contract position.
REQUIREMENTS:
Create 3D characters from concept, taking them through the high-resolution to retopology stages to obtain low poly meshes.
Working closely with the Art Director to enhance the visual imagery within the style of the game project.
Maintaining the production pipeline and schedule.
Strong understanding of development challenges related to exporting and integrating assets into a game engine.
Outstanding demo reel.
Though not strictly required, candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas would be given more consideration:
Knowledge of commercial game engines such as Unity
2+ years working experience is a plus. Game industry experience is not strictly required.
Bachelor’s degree in Art/Animation or equivalent experience.
A love of storytelling + indie games is a big plus!
